Excellent article, Vinform. It is not just happening in India, diploma mills are happening everywhere. Perhaps having an online graduates database made available in every university, polytechnic or college graduate online section. What do you think?
Vinform, nice article. However, how many of those are really eligible in your view? Those who are attending the cources, taking the pain of going through the exams and passing with flying colors, are the really capapble of proving their so called achievements anywhere?
I will pass it to you an example, a real man, who struggled throughout his life to do graduation, post graduation, ITL, PMP etc and was ex colleague. It is not just him, I can count more than dozen people around me, who miserably fail to apply their knowledge to anything practical
Obviously achieving a degree through fraudulant measures shouldn’t be encouraged anywhere. I am posting this comment from Kuwait, recently the government has banned Kuwaiti students obtaining degrees from Indian universities and philippenes universities as these are the easy target countries from where you can obtain a fake certificate even from most prestigious ones.
Our educational system has a flaw, it means. IT clearly shows how the corruption starting from the chaprasi to upper level is closely knitted, which finally turns into a fake certificate. What is the use, when developing a mechanism which doesn’t have enough strength to do anything against a system, but act against the victims of such a system?
From my prospects, this is a mere money making mechanism for few companies, which have the measures to track down an individual or few individuals and mum against a bigger system which generates thousands of such individuals or encourages silently the same system to produce more fake degree holders so that the business is always alive…
